When the hummingbird feeders get low in nectar, the intrepid hummers, hovering at eye level, looking straight in the eye  as if to say, "Get to it...we need more nectar!" The artist has found that animals have their own ways to communicate if one is open to seeing it. Eye contact, movement, and other subtle signals communicate what mere words can not say, "Animalspeak" is a language of its own.
