This Lighthouse is near Alpena, Michigan, on the shores of Lake Huron. It is the oldest lighthouse in Michigan, and is reportedly haunted by a friendly and helpful ghost which explains why the light was seen shining at night after the original light was removed and there was no light.This lighthouse was replaced by a large, inland lighthouse, New Presque Isle Lighthouse. However, Old Presque retains its position and charm. It has since become a gift shop and museum.
